    Integrating External Document Repositories with SharePoint 2007

    In terms of SharePoint integrations to document repositories, I would hang fire -HP are due to launch their first release of HP TRIM since acquiring Tower Software.  Rumours are the integration with SharePoint both 2007 and 2010 will be a market leading seamless integration.  Again only rumours but solution will offer potentially a fully compliant RM solution front ended by SharePoint.  Anything added to SharePoint can be controlled by the records management functions within HP TRIM - users only see SharePoint.

    I would anticipate other vendors following suit - in the next few months.
